The weight of recent events and the challenges we are facing in our new reality is being felt on a global scale and have stirred up feelings of uncertainty and worry around the world. Like many others, there are times I feel overwhelmed and fearful about the future - my days and dreams suddenly feel like one big blur. My once colourful dreams have been filled with uncertainty, fear, and sadness instead. I find myself stuck in moments where I have to ask myself whether all this is real or could it be a terrible dream. Some say dreams mirror our waking life and that our emotions come to the surface and can manifest themselves in weird ways as we sleep. My dreams are filled with loneliness, death, injustice, confusion, longing, and despair. My mind is tired and sleep is no longer the antidote.
